In case you were wondering, cupcake is my adorable new bunny. She's too cute for words! I've only had her since yesterday, and she's so much fun.
My mum and sister love her too, and even though dad bitched about getting another rabbit, I totally saw him feeding her lol.
She got out last night, and I freaked out so bad, but she was only in the garden next to her cage eating the plants, so mum just grabbed her and I wedged the cage against a wall so she can't open it, although we're not sure how she did to start off with, cos under all the fur she's TINY

I am not part of a nameless, faceless, unelected, unrepresented rabble.
I am a democratically elected delegate to the supreme decision making body of the NSW branch of the Australian Labor Party. I am a voting delegate to State conference. I am not a union heavyweight. I am part of the Socialist Left, the minority fraction. And I do not believe that selling, or leasing any public assets is ever the answer.
I am a financial member, who is actively involved in my branch. I was elected by that branch to represent them on my state electoral committee, and that committee elected me to be their delegate to the NSW branch state conference.
The weight of opinion of those people, people whom I represent is not one I carry lightly. In fact I actively encourage ANYONE to voice their opinions to me, to tell me what they think. To talk to me so I can represent them properly. Those people have spoken. They clearly and without hesitation told me that they do not believe this is the answer, it is not the right thing to do, it is not the way forward. That it is against everything that we stand for, and everything that we are supposed to believe in.

It is clear in the rules of the party that conference holds supremacy. We might not chose to exercise it, compromise is always an option BUT WHEN WE ARE PUSHED WE FIGHT BACK. We are the rank and file members, the union representatives, and the committees that run our party and we will be heard.
We run election campaigns, we fund raise, we door-knock, we letter box, we hand out how to votes, we dedicate our time, our hearts and our money to a cause in which we believe, and we cannot be taken lightly. If the Premier of NSW will not listen to his party he will lose them. It is simple, why would I dedicate my time, my money, my blood sweat and tears to a cause, to a person that does not care what I think. One that will not listen to me. One that is content to use me while they can, and abuse me when they can't? The answer is just as simple - I won't.

As a member of the party I have a say. We are a democracy, and that democracy has spoken, 7 to 1. It was not a close call, it was a decisive victory of a party that knows what they want and what they stand for. It was not a group of union thugs bullying the Premier and his Treasurer, it was a democratic group voting for what they believe in. The last time a Premier went against conference he was expelled from the party. Don't think it can't happen again.

So this is totally backdated cos it was forever ago and I have so much to catch up on that I split it into like three entries.
Anyways, I got there at like 11 or so and no one was this Kris had texted me at 9 saying there was already a bunch of kids there, but there weren’t that many more by the time I got there. But she’d sold her ticket and fucked of to the secret show, and so had jesscar and Rhiannon and the other jess and Harriet and Ollie weren’t even there yet so I stood around by myself for a while until this chick comes running up screaming bec and hugged me and it was an old naptown boardie from gc back in 05. It was pretty sweet so she and her friends let me in and I hung with them till Jess and Harriet and Ollie showed up, and we hung around some more and made fun of people wearing fluro tights and stuff haha. Then we went and found Nikki at the start of the line and hung out there eating lollies and shizz
And yeah we got food and fucked around and stuff and it was pretty fun. Then we couldn’t get back in the line cos Nikki’s friends said they’d let us in but then they were like “its so packed there’s no room you can’t” which was just shit. But we cloaked out bags and eventually got back in the line. I was right behind Harriet and when we went in we all got split up so it was just like me and Harriet. But that was ok. The something with numbers played and fuck son their singer does like this thing while he’s singing, its kinda like dancing but not quite he like… move his hips kinda. Anyways it was SO FUCKING HOT. I was like…. Dude every boy should be taught that haha. And Harriet was like “omg I knoooooow”. Pretty much I would so tap that hahahaha but yeah they were really good, I didn’t know that many of their songs and I’ve never seen them before but they were sweet as. And then kisschasy played. And it was thrilling as always. Darren had shit hair again, but karl is still really fucking hott. And the music was awesome haha. So yeah they played a good set, then [finally] panic came out! And omg it was so good. They sound really fucking different live, but I guess they can’t really do a bunch of that stuff. Plus they’re super pretty. One of them [I don’t remember which one] is like almost too pretty, but they played really good and they did all the songs I loved so it was good. But yeah this whole time I was like groping Harriet. Hah not really, but I was full on plastered up against her cos it was so packed so I had my arm around her waist so I wouldn’t like lose her, but then I had to move or something and like as soon as I let go of her I started getting pushed back and it was really shit. Like it was so bad and I was getting really hot too and stuff, kinda like at soty cos I couldn’t really breathe, so when panic like stopped playing I was like “yesss” and shoved out of the pit really fast. I went to the merch table to get merch, and Joelie met me there and we caught up and shit and got shirts. We were gonna get different ones so we could swap if we got bored of them haha but they didn’t have the other one we wanted in out size so we got the same one. And are shirt twins<3
But yeah panic! Played an encore and we pretty much missed it and I was like “fuck that off should'a known this’d happen to me” but it was still good cos at least standing at the back I could see AND breathe. Always important haha.
But yeah, then it ended and I said goodbye to Joelie and went to the cloakroom to find Harriet and jess and everyone else and we got our stuff and went outside and Harriet told us how some guy PISSSED on her in the mosh. And I was like “ewwwww” cos seriously that’s just fucking WRONG. And I was like djiasg what if some got on ME! But yeah, I found a sticker on the ground and we hung around for a while more before heading back to central to get trains/buses/whatever home [or in my case to Jess’s house] and on the bus to central I swapped my pants for a skirt. Cos ewww piss. And sweat. It was just slightly unpleasant. But yes, got there, eventually made it to Jess’s house. Had a shower cos we were both nasty and fell asleep listening to the joy that is jack’s.
In other news Jess’ cd collection is slightly disturbing but in a good way. I have never seen so many in my life outside a CD store. But yeah, the next morning it was jess’ birthday, so she got stuff and we ate and then we got both went to the train station and I went home and she went to meet sax.
Pretty much it was all quite thrilling really :]

yeah, ok so its like a week late. and photo-less seeing as how i at uni. point is, i'm updating. joyous.
ANYWAYS, train ride down sucked. nothing new there, i should have gotten off at hornsby and chaged trains but i wasn't paying attention, so i had to chage at strathfield instead.
then whenn i got off i got totally lost on my way to Janets and ended up wandering around in ther wilds of burwood fro 2 hours. i ended up getting a bus back to the station and starting the walk again lol.
so i was heaps later then i wanted to be getting to the hordon, and i made a random friend on the bus so that was cool. so i get there, and i wandered around at the start of the line looking for jess and haz and everyone but i couldn't see them so i started to message jess, but she was talking to random american dude and came up to me. and it was exciting, cos i hadn't seen anyone in FOREVER. pretty much most of the lining up was shit, cos i missed the fun parts in the morning where you can wander around and all.
i had to cloakroom my bag tho, and to get out of the line i jumped over the barriers. and that was cool, cos pretty much those things were almost as big as i am. I saw lauren while i wa over in the line for the cloakroom and that was awsome too. she was like "did you bring the big badges?" and im like HELL YEAH. BEC LOVES THE BIG VAGES BADGES hahaha.
anyways, EVENTUALLY we got in and i was like the 10th person in there!!!!! it was SO FUCKING AWSOME, we were right on the barrier in the middle :D
so first up was horsell common, and i hadn't seen them before but they were pretty cool, their bass player was so cute, he dropped his pick, then his bass came unplugged, then it totally broke. haha but they were still good, and he was like the cutest thing ever<3 they mentioned myspace like 50 million [or 4] times in their set lol.
Then was Emery and OH MY GOD I LOVE THEM. their keyboardist/screamer/dancer was SO AWSOME. the dude was totally insane, he was jumping all over the place and he kept jumping off stage and up to the barrier, and squishing me and jess :(. but it was still cool. and then he decided to go crowd surfng WITH HIS MIKE. and the security dudee pulled him out. right where me and jess were so that was bad. he was funny tho, and totally sweet. the bass player was cute too, and they were like jumping on each other on stage<3. and he came and said hi to us and thanked us for the support and all after their set<33333
then was flogging molly, but during emery i lost my grip on the barrier, and people were pushing and squishing me so much i couldnt breathe, and i was feeling dizzy and stuff, and jess was like do you want to get out? and i said i didnt, but i thought maybe i should and i asked the girl behind me to try and move back so i could breath, and thats all i can remember till the security guy was like carrying me out. so i passed out.
he put me down, but i was still all faint and dizzy and scared, cos i had no idea what happened, so he picked me up again and carried me to the st johns people. and i waved to the girls on the way to let them know i was alright-ish. so yeah, they were supper nice and checked me out and made me drink all this water and told me to get food and all. so i left and went back out to get food and i went past one of the emery guys on the way, but i still didnt feel that hot so i didnt stop.
so yeah, i got food and i saw bomber [you know dude with the website and all] standing out there and stuff. so i got food and whatnot. then i went back in, and flogging molly were still playing
so i tried to get back to where the others were, and i got pretty close i was like right behind them, but there were like 4 or 5 people between us and i couldnt get through :(. so i stayed there, and SOTY came out and it was INSANE. i was surrounded by a whole bunch of tall guys [whats new] and i couldnt see a thing lol. but it was totally awsome, it was like mosh fucking city, seriosuly even the worst of big day out had NOTHING on these boys. i fell over a few times, but they were super nice and picked me up and made sure i was alright <3 but then my shoelaces cam untied, and i started to lose them, and i ADORE my cons, so i got out to fix them up and i saw bomber again [and again didnt say anything :p] but i saw Rhiannon. and we sat at the back and watched for a while, then went back down in the pit.
Pretty much SOTY were fucking awsome. they threw their guitarts around and did this sweet melody of a whole bunch of awsome songs, like sweet child o mine and we're not gonna take it and candy shop and broke a guitar and told everyone to take tier shirts off and swing them around lol. and they played all the songs i love <333
pretty much it was the best thing ever.
Anyways, after the show me and Rhiannon went outside where we were supposed to meet the others, and we saw random american ddue on the way so he came too, and i got a flyer with PENNYWISE<3 and other bands shows on it. then i had to go back in to gte my bag, and the line took like 50 million years, i FINALLY got it and went back out to the others, where we stood around and talked for a while, then we went to the bus stop. and oh yeah, i met jed the man-whore who can;t decide what girl he wants to go out with and doesnt wear shirts under hoodies. haha, ANYWAYS, i got the vag badge tooo! its AWSOME, so far its got like 50 million compliments. <3 yes. exciting stuff
anyways, got bus then train and said bye to everyone :( then i got a taxi back to janets and i couldnt ferakin sleep. all night i was like "anthem of our dying dayyyy" in my head, or we dont care anymore. it was TERRIBLE.
anyways, next morning io caught up with janet and met her new housemate. janet dropped me at strathfield ti get the train back so yeah. i caught like 3 different ones to get home lol and went straight to uni. in my dirty-assed clothes, cos i forgot my PJs so i slept in my nasty show pants and blink shirt, then i wore the same jeans the next day. ewww. and they were all damp still. it was pretty nasty lol. but yeah, thats about it.

so melbourne and the big day out were pretty fucking cool.
it god of to a shite start, what with me having no money, and my flight being delayed bu like 2 hours, but it went well. and flying is SO MUCH FUN. Like i thought it might be scary, but no way it was the best!!!! the only bad point - there was this totally hott guy sitting in front of me the whole way and I never noticed. why couldn't have he been in my row instead of this dude who kept trying to talk to me, despite the fact that a) i had almost no voice left thanks to my cold, and b)I so was not interested.
But I got there, and kat and her anunt were waiting, and it was so awsome to see her again, so we went back to her aunts place, and pretty much just watched TV for a while then crashed. and then on saturday we got the tram into the city [and trams are also fully awsome] and shopped for a while. and the myers there is SO HUGE. and in the bottom it had this bit called the basement with all the like young people clothes and stuff, and it was so awsome. they had the best shoes and tops. I got 2 buttons, cos they were sweetness.
so then we went into a few more shops, including JB, where i got the new franz ferdinand album. which is also sweetness. and sadly, there were not hot guys in the punk/alternative/emo section. and i was like "wtf? this is JB? and the punk/emo/alternative bit.. where are they?" cos every single time i've been to JB. and it doesnt matter which ones, there has been pretty boys for the checking out, and this time. none.
anyways, we went over to the crown and went though the casino, but we didnt end up gambling. we were gonna go back later that night but we never got round to it. so we looked in the super-expensive shops they have there, and went and watched memoirs of a geisha [which was good] and stuff. then we were gonna go out somewhere, but kat brought so much that we had to go home first, and by the time we got there it was nearly 10, and sarah, one of the girls from uni who lives in melb texted us backing out and all, so we just couldnt be bothered.
Sunday was the big day out. and it was greatness. it took us FOREVER to get there tho, cos all the trams were so packed, and the line to get in went for fucking ever. but we didnt take bags, so that was quicker. we got there like ha;fway though fakers set, and then after calling hutchi like a million times and getting no answer we ended up seeing him in front of us, so then we all went and saw the subways. who were awsome. I must get my hands on their album... anways, there was a little mini mosh so me and hutchi and his friends jumped on in. and i lost kat like straight away. turns out she cant hack a decent mosh either. dammit. I dont get it, im like.... tiny [tinier now i've lost some weight, even sam noticed]and it doesnt scare of freak me out at all. I LOVE IT. appart from the sweat, but I can deal. freakin pussies. yey for male friends!!! anywas, some tool stoof on my shoeslace, and that came untied so my cons almost fell of. anfd then I fixed them and it happened again, so I left to find kat. which I did eventually. and we got food. and alcohol. and they had icies that were like vodka. best ever my friends.
so then we saw more bands and ate more and drank more. and I got really sunburnt. we saw wolfmother, the living end, end of fashion, franz, the white stripes, faker, magic dirt and the subways. we didnt stay for all the full sets though, and for magic dirt and half of franz we were in the beer garden type thing so we could hear it heaps still, but not see.
during wolfmother there was like this power-trippin security dude who kept spraying the water over us. like i'd be, no dont dude we're fine, its not that hot and he'd spray it like right in my freakin eye. god he was a pain in the ass. like peopl;e had phones and stuff, and he could have completly fucked them up. next time im putting mine in a zip-lock bag like this dude next to us did.
um yeah. im bored of typig now so im gonna warp this up lol.
sunmday we shopped again. there was a converse outlet thing. like 50 bucks for a pait of high tops dude.,.. pity I had no money. kat got a red pair though. after the shopping we went back to her aunts, and they dropped me at the airport, were I had like 2.5 hours to kill. but I looke daround the shops and all so it was alright. On the flight home I took several million pics of clouds, cos they were so PRETTY.
Today sam came and visited me, cos shes staying on the centeral coast right now. it was cool, we went down to the lake for lunch and caught up and bonded and stuff.
and thats about all...oh and I GOT INTO NEWCASTLE!!!!! oh yeah. I mean, i'd prefer to go to sydney, but the money just isn't there, and i wasn't reall up for defering. so newy works too. :D

so I haven't really done anything the last few days, I find out if I get my transfer tonight. and I'm getting stressed, cos second semester my grades weren't that great. I mean its not like I failed or anything, but they really weren't what they could have been, I spent WAY too much time partying, and not enough studying. Ironic, considering that now im on holidays, and can party guilt free whenever I want I haven't AT ALL hardly. But that would be because my new castle friends? yeah they pretty much suck and never come out with me.
